In today's "wouldn't it be great if The Goonies were real?" news, Hurricane Ike uncovered a ship that was buried in the sand near Fort Morgan, Alabama. A part of the ship appeared in the aftermath of Hurricane Camille in 1969, which led anthropologists to originally identify the ship as the Monticello, a Civil War schrooner that crashed in 1862 during some fighting with the U.S. Navy. Much more of the hull is now visible.
