I'll guess Miami - cause I read that some famous psychic to the stars predicted a big hurricane will hit there and do some major damage this year.

If I had my way MIAMI! That means it will be safe for yet another year....I am sure everyone will like that! With my luck it would be Key Largo. Then again, isn't there a saying that suffering comes before victory?

Lightbulb Sales tax holiday for hurricane stuff

The Florida House has passed a bill that would create another sales tax holiday to encourage Floridians to get ready for the hurricane season.

Approved items:

Flashlights, radios, tarps and other hurricane supplies would be tax free for 12 days at the beginning of hurricane season, under a measure the House approved.

The Senate has not acted on the legislation, House Democrats spoke out against the measure. Pending on their decision.

Do you find the sale tax holiday beneficial for the Florida residents?

I voted Pensacola because usually the first hurricanes are in the Gulf and that just happened to be my pick. I could just as easily have gone with any of them from say Cedar Key to Pensacola.

Hurricane strike probabilities are only statistical estimates. Always be prepared and informed as storms approach.

Miami, Palm Beach, Key West and Pcola are the ones with the greatest stike probabilities...
