Do you think that would be a good idea to add a hurricane sub-forum? We get a lot of questions about hurricanes and can be a very positive tool to disperse information before, during, and after a hurricane. Information is a great tool if we can get it out to the public. This could be a public service from the Forum management. Please remember that we do have hundreds of individuals that visit our Florida forum. Please vote and I will keep it open until 06/06/07 to allow all the Florida/visiting members to voice their view.

Sounds like a good idea as long as it doesn't become the type forum just to tell war stories and complain.
Probably won't matter but I agree with DeLaSalle. There is a lot of info available regarding preparedness for any type of natural disaster. It's disconcerting to me that we humans seem to focus so much of our energy on negative issues. Let's stock up on batteries (rechargeable ones), flashlights, water and dry goods and simply radiate loving energy and enjoy life.
And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.

I hear the Atlantic waters are almost BOILING this year..... sounds like you guys are in for some "fun" in the near future.
I love having moved OUT of Florida.... now I can watch it on the news drinking lemonade on my patio.....
I dunno, Cocoa Beach water was pretty cool over Memorial Day weekend... low-mid 70's. Since you moved to North Carolina, you're not exactly escaping hurricanes now are you?
Seems to me we need a sub-forum for the housing bubble over a sub-forum for hurricanes.
I think the thread is good enough.
