Well today this years first "Invest" developed north of Hispaniola, and has been named by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory 90L, its important to note that an invest is basically an area that could potentially spawn or become an subtropical or tropical system. According to the models, as well as many meteorologists such as Jeff Masters this invest could very well become a subtropical or tropical storm within the next couple days as it moves slowly towards the Southeastern United States. So this is certainly something to look out for this weekend.
