what do you think about the kia sportage? of course i know its an inexpensive car - what i am looking for are specifics, do you think it drives well, any major problems? the warranty looks good. The reviews on it are pretty good, they are saying it is nothing like it was when it was first introduced...

i know resale value stinks, but i dont sell my cars until they are so old that the resale value stinks anyway....so if you have any ideas or comments please let me know

thanks

oh its a new 2008

Believe it or not, Kia/Hyundai has increased their reliable over the years. Kia models are basically rebaged Hyundais. FYI! The Kia sportage is being restyled for the 2009. Good luck!

Brace yourself for a certain poster to come on here and tell you how he had a Hyundai 7 years ago with a transmission problem and therefore everything Korean still unconditionally sucks 7 years later...
