Well, the game was fun to watch and they do a lot of crowd interaction. Highlight: fan in the stands catching a foul ball with his cap Low spot: crushed 11-1

Breer, if you and the Mrs would like a two tix let me know. They are Gen Admission (upgrade is $3 per). I can't seem to get my husband in town when they are in town, go figure.

Cool Loggins and Messina on 10/22/09

It's hard to think about Oct. right now. But, good news that Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina will be in Idaho Falls on 10/22/09. The link is on the main page of:

Idaho Falls Arts Council

I'm glad to see more and more concerts in Idaho Falls. Having been to huge venues, there is something to be said for intimate settings. This sounds like fun.

Sorry, this is off-topic... but still on the original topic so I think I'm okay... The Virginia Theater has another show coming up. It's a musical of "A Little Princess" and was written by a resident of Shelley... responses have been great so far! I think the info's up on their site at thevirginiatheater.weebly.com .

Last edited by Shelleyite; 08-21-2009 at 11:42 AM.. Reason: Didn't mention what the show was

Talking Huey Lewis & the News at Eastern Idaho State Fair

Check out the local video and the interview with Huey Lewis in this piece. They played at the Eastern ID State Fair on Thursday

Huey Lewis & the News Rock the Eastern Idaho State Fair - KIFI - Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Jackson WY - Weather News Sports-

I read in a different interview that Huey Lewis now lives in MT, quite close to the ID border. He loves these kinds of shows now.

Per chance you aren't familiar with the song they started with (as it is not the one I think of off the top of my head when I hear, "Huey Lewis & the News,") here's also a YouTube video to help you recall it:

Enjoy!
