Unless Covid kills off an enormous percentage of the population, even more people are still going to need homes and there will still be a need for new homes and businesses to be built.

No, it is not just a bump in the road, but it is (hopefully) not the end of the world, either.

Agreed not a bump in the road. Recessionary conditions are expected for atleast one year perhaps two, and it doesn’t matter how strong your economy was.

I noticed yesterday that work has begun to connect John Adams Parkway between Hitt and Tie-Breaker (at White Pine Charter School)

The College of Eastern Idaho is requesting federal assistance to build a Future Tech- Career and Technical Education facility on campus. Looks like an 85-90,000 sq ft facility.

Oklo's application has been given the green light by the NRC the next step is the approval process (red tape) to build a small scale reactor on INL property.

Also, tomorrow the Secretary of Energy will be in Idaho Falls to make an announcement...not sure what that entails, I bet it will be very interesting.

Also at the June 15th city council session during the I15-US20 presentation (which may start construction next summer due to being bumped up because of need) the mayor didn't give any sort of info but alluded to the possibility of quite a few new projects that haven't been spoken about (200-500 jobs each).

The year of the Covid may have stalled progress this year but it sounds like the BIG boom is just on the horizon.
