I agree, but the Cellar is there, the Fiji, Texas Roadhouse and a few others are. Many of the top rated mom and pop's are there, like Chef Shane's Perspective. For someone kind of tired of the Sandpiper, Jacker's and Stockmans and apparently the Tappa's restuarant doesn't appear to be an option, at least this would give tmp4 a bigger rotation to try with clients.

BTW, Popeye's opens MONDAY for all who have been waiting.

simple fact is, I take them to dinner near whichever hotel they're staying at. and at this time, there's only one hotel on the eastside. soon as that changes, I may begin taking folks to eastside restaurants.

a Ruth's Chris (or something of that nature) would be nice

Yes, or one of those Brazilian steakhouses (does "texas de brazil" sound right?)its been a little while. I think as downtown becomes more revelant we could soon see names like spaghetti factory as well

Default Finally...IFFD Station #1 Breaks Ground

Not bad to be breaking ground on the much needed replacement IFFD Station #1 on 01/08/2016. I can't remember the projected building time. Anyone recall? Maybe things will start to move now on other projects.........

I think other banks see this. Perhaps why Wells Fargo and D.L. Evans are slow to build IF locations. The initial dirt work had begun on a Washington Federal across from SCC in IF.

I think there will be more construction in that area come spring. I look for the land east of Kohl's to start something when the weather permits. I dont know what. Seems like Golden Corall wanted to build there several years ago. We'll see.

I am happy that we got Broulims. Although Albertsons and Winco are also Idaho natives, the degree of locality is so much more. Plus the store is very classy compared to everything we currently have.

I noticed Gator Jacks location on Hitt Road across from Carinos is now closed, less than a year after opening.
I found information supportive-ish of this. What i saw was actually to the west of teton auto though and it is to be two dealerships. So far, each dealer has located there bringing two brands to its complex. I cant remember for sure but i think Matt Morgan hinted of an auto dealer or two in JHJ. Although 26 acres would account for more that half of JHJ. There is nothing saying we speak of the same group or development (seems how there were no brands or dealers names mentioned in what i read). Actually some evidence suggests that it isnt. The new auto row.

It was 2.6 acres, and it is east of Volkswagen, it will be BMW, there isn't enough room there for the other dealerships.

Has anyone heard of something being built about 1/4 - 1/2 mile south of 6500 S. on the road between Idaho Falls and Shelley? I know the road is going to add more lanes, but it sure looked like there were flags on a piece of property west of the highway. I'll check again when I can as it was dusk. But that is one to watch. I know there is suppose to be a new Baptist Church built, but am quite certain that is in Bingham County a few miles south. Besides the church is suppose to be built on a cross road not the highway.

The weird thing to me about that area is my maternal grandfather's family owned a medium size farm that includes much 6500 S. from the Exit 113 probably to the nextent crossroad. But I think grandkids sold the property. I don't know even if they still own it, maybe I'll hAve to ask I could probably learn more about what is planned for 6500 S. besides Rick Warner Truckland.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

This is a cross post with the INL thread. Currently, there are three, maybe more, positions open for Construction-type workers for the new Navy (Naval Reactors Facility) facility. Additional info is available at BMPO.com .

I know an Enhanced Federal Background Check is required. I do not know what that includes.

I'm not sure who would issue this building permit. Would it be Butte County or do National Labs use a different process?

While we won't see this building directly in any east Idaho County, we should see workers obtain hopefully good construction work.

IIRC, I think it was Theotherdude who first posted about this construction.
