I was offered it, but turned it down. Like I said earlier, I don't want to be locked into an intinerary.

BTW, Mr. Vandersloot was personally involved in providing a Northwest flight from I.F. to Minneapolis back a few years ago. But the traffic never was able to sustain itself. I took it once, on a trip to the east coast, and it was one of the most turbulant flights of my life. Turbulant as a lasting route I might add.

Interesting that Frank Vandersloot was involved with NorthWest Airlines. This is the first time I've heard about this.

Lots of people took that flight from and to the East Coast. My understanding was it got shut down when Delta bought NW and didn't want that route competing, let alone not using Delta hubs. Interesting about FV being involved.

Thanks pw72.

Cool. Nice to be around winners. I think sometimes it rubs off. As they say in the casinos, "good luck". (Which of course is not what they really mean )

Me neither and I was given a 90 min lesson last week from someone who could even tell me which ones had taxes withheld when awarded, payment schedules etc. of others. Ike's, I thought we were talking about something different the first 15 min.

So I finally asked a clerk at a C store one night when not many we're around. Ummm, I think others unless they really like to gamble in more ways than one, are better off asking almost anyone before me to buy tickets etc. I'll learn more but in the meantime it's really gambling to ask me to get any ticket for anything.

Not lucky yet......

Did anyone know someone who went on that cheap flight a couple of weeks ago?

No, but as to an earlier question, the lottery locations in Preston, and perhaps Franklin, ID are the biggest sellers. Anyone know why? I'm sure you do.

Since no replies...the obvious answer is because there is no state lottery in Utah, and many, and I do mean many, Utah residents travel to this area to buy Powerball and Mega Millions tickets. Nevada also does not have a state lottery, and many in Nevada, (believe it or not) travel to CA, ID, and AZ to buy tickets.
