I think we're hearing some nice additions. I really like the older male's vignettes about Christmas. I've never heard them before and look forward to them. They can be powerful.

I also like the addition of some Christmas songs. It was a pleasant surprise to hear Mannheim Steamroller

Nice job, PW.

Default APP Size

Wonder Phone, as I called my phone, has been replaced by a totally new phone from the provider. Now I get to download all the things I couldn't transfer. Among those I'm downloading is The Arrow app. I started the download in the cell phone store. I had to make one upgrade for the phone and a second upgrade, from The Arrow.

I was one who required some time to download before compared to other apps. It worked perfectly once it was installed.

If you've thought about downloading the app and it seems slow, have you looked at how big the app is? It's almost 6.6 MB. Others are KB. There really is a lot of info about weather, roads, school closures and community events along with the features for voting or commenting on the music. It's worth downloading for me, regardless of the time it takes.

Thanks PW and team for such a good app

CM,

Have you heard Time Passages yet? I have and voted on it as a +. Al Stewart ' s songs are as long or longer than many. Still, I know shorter versions of that and Time Passages and Song on the Radio all were played on the radio to achieve the status they did.

Default Sweet Home Alabama!!! ; Man in Motion

PW-

How can one's day not be better after hearing SHA?

Some other good and different music the last 24 hrs. including St. Elmo's Fire - cool song that I don't think has outlasted a time frame. Think of how many big careers were launched from St. Elmo's Fire. A refresher on the lyrics and transformation of a male who becomes a "can do" man might help.

But music is subjective. Sometimes lyrics mean different things to some people (or don't ) at different crossroads of our lives.

I'm glad The Arrow has reintroduced me to some fav's from years ago and some I missed along the way.

As Firefall.s (still teaching the new phone - sorry) song, "Staying With It" name implies, taking a chance on something new requires dealing with previous beliefs and seeing if they still fit. Sometimes change occurs when others understand different and new can be better instead of just maintaining the status quo. Sometimes those old beliefs don't meet the needs they once did. Changes and new things can take time but are worthwhile.

Keep being "The Man in Motion" as most of the changes are great. As Ringo says, "It Don't Come Easy."

Totally understand. I-phones work best, and only the newest droids work. Tech needs to either catch up or slow down. Not sure what I just said there!

I know you didn't ask me, PW, but I'll say I don't know either. I wrote a post on the Arrow F. B. wall. Because I started my download ( and 2 upgrades one was The Arrow's) at the cell phone store, somehow my "Home wall" login is to The Arrow!

The Arrow app is large compared to other stations. And phones have to be upgraded to their latest. Then there is an Arrow upgrade. I don't know if that will help your tech think this through a bit or not.
It's worthwhile if one can download

Default Static Can be Good

I guess there is even a time static can be a good thing. IDK if it was more than Monday, as I turned this station off during a song playing Saturday. It was the last Sat. Prior to Christmas with a lot of families shopping/traveling, friends catching up etc.
I never thought the veteran DJ would have selected this music.

Default Clarification

I need to be very clear about my last post. PW is NOT the DJ I was referencing above. It was a different one.

A person asked me how I would know there was static on Monday if I turned the radio off on Saturday. Good question. I'd forgotten to change my clock radio, which has an option for weekdays vs. weekends.

I'm disappointed when I know PW has worked hard to make a lot of changes. I was also embarrassed to have that particular song play when I had suggested to others we listen to the Arrow.
