How about a thread of funny things we see. Some days are full of funny events and some days funny is harder to find. But laughing is good for us as long as we're not putting others down.
Today, I saw something I never thought I'd see in east ID
I was getting some gas and kind of caught up in my own thoughts. However, I heard a man up one pump and on the other side from me. I'm not certain if it was the clerk talking to him via the speaker or if perhaps a newsclip played.
Whatever it was this older gentleman appeared to be enjoying himself talking with clerk. I overheard him start to laugh and he asked "the voice" when "Ross or that other fellow would appear?" Now I was watching him wondering what he was doing
After about another minute of inquiring about various people he said, "Isn't this being filmed to show on Jay Leno's show? Won't someone be coming out to tell me and that Jay would be buying my gas today?"
I looked down and smiled trying not to laugh as he was 100 % certain he was being filmed for Leno. I didn't have it in me to tell him Leno wasn't being broadcast any more. The clerk was very kind saying how great that would be if Leno was there
I drove away laughing. What a positive guy he was. He was looking for the good even with gas prices. I don't think I would have been as quick as he was to think about Hollywood seeking those at the gas pumps in east Idaho.
I hope you can understand why this was an unusual and funny situation.

I was getting some gas and kind of caught up in my own thoughts. However, I heard a man up one pump and on the other side from me. I'm not certain if it was the clerk talking to him via the speaker or if perhaps a newsclip played.
After about another minute of inquiring about various people he said, "Isn't this being filmed to show on Jay Leno's show? Won't someone be coming out to tell me and that Jay would be buying my gas today?"
