PSA:

Rollandet is now 25mph the whole way between Sunnyside and 17th. And there's been a cop hiding out near the baseball fields all day. It's nearly impossible to drive 25, guess I'll need to find a new cut-through to downtown.

Good to know! I don't think that is an accident before Memorial Day. Maybe it will ease up afterwards.

There is a new, competing, daily service essentially from Rexburg to St. George. It's much cheaper than SLASH.

What ever became of the rumor of a possible flight between Idaho Falls and Seattle?

RetiredinAmmon, How about you finding out the information for us as share it? We'really going to have few who post this summer. We need all the help from various members we can get. I look forward to the information

COCO, To date Allegiance has flown summer only to L.A. They'very been asked repeatedly to provide this service year round. You always have the option of flying to Vegas and changing planes there.

The Airport will start the basic work on an expansion of the N. end of the terminal. That will expand the baggage claim area. Either a second baggage claim carousel will be added so there is enough room for two flights to unload baggage at the same time. Or, they may use one of the newer designs for luggage. The architects will start to look at options.

There will be movement of some of the rental car desks. Possibly, some rental cars will have to be located further away, depending on how big the terminal expansion needs to be to accommodate all the luggage and passengers.

There are some other things going on but they are exciting mostly to pilots, since they are runway type issues.

YW. Let us know how your family is doing when you can. You could be a big help to many seeking information of what life is like here. At least we don't have choppers flying over the homes and yards with search lights looking for criminals. A friend made her final decision to move away from LA as that was her breaking point. She wanted her kids to actually be able to play in a back yard.
