Come on up. As of July 2016 we are a Constitutional Carry State. No concealed carry permit is required for residents who meet common sense requirements. An enhanced CCW is also available to permit carry in addition states with reciprocity. Open carry is also permitted.
Idaho is currently a Castle Doctrine state, with legislation already written to enhance residents rights. Our current Castle Doctrine is a bit ambiguous, but cases lean strongly in favor of the person defending himself, his family and his property.

Default I would adjust perfectly!!!

[quote=oregonwoodsmoke;47146832]Just generalized advice, to apply to anywhere, Californians have made themselves hated all over the country, any state, by moving in, making a fuss about how they had to move out of California because they couldn't stand it any more, and then immediately starting in about how this thing was better where they came from or that thing was done better where they came from.

I am BEGGING to get out of California! I can't find a place I can afford to live for retirement! I have been researching states/cities for a while now, Texas, Arizona and now am considering Boise...doing research and all to see how everything is.... I promise... if I get there... the only time you will even know that I am from California is when I talk about my children and grand children and even then it will only be...to mention that is where they are!!!! I have lived here in CA off and on for 60 years... was great back in the day, but the last 40 years....gone to hell in a hand basket and getting worse! Nope..you won't know I'm from this state.

i WIll be in same position in a few years (RETIREMENT).
I can't stand it here either and wanted to get out of here 10 years ago.
You can't drive anywhere here because of gridlock so you end up staying home.
Too many taxes, with old taxes going up.
It is a communist/liberal state of weirdos and crooks now.
I find that Idaho is the most affordable between Montana, Wyoming, and Nevada.
