Hi everyone!

I just recently got my garage workshop relatively setup and now have to time to start on the ever-growing list of projects. So the question is: where do you go for wood? Home Depot and Lowe's are good enough for a lot of what I'm doing, but for the more finished pieces, I'd like a better selection of nicer stuff. Any ideas are welcome.

And sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere. I looked around and didn't find anything that answered the question.

I almost always end up at BMC West in Idaho Falls for building materials, wood, trim, etc.
When I finished my basement, they had everything in stock, for less than HD.

Just don't try to get them to provide Insulation work. When I built my shop, they did the walls, and then later the attic, for a very fair price. Recently, I have been trying for three months to get them to bid a job I need done, and can't get call backs, or commitments on even a week when they can show up to bid it.

They aren't alone though. The other major insulation contractor has been ignoring my pleas to give them money for work, too.

Also, if you do any woodworking and are seeking hardwoods, then the only game in town is Intermountain Wood Products on Iona Rd. near Yellowstone Hwy.
Great selection of hardwoods (for this area).
