I am looking for teaching jobs in/near Idaho Falls. I am ceritifed in Health/Physical Education. What areas are within commuting range to Idaho Falls that I should look?

I will teach at either a public, religious, or private school...it doesn't matter to me. Also I know some religious schools will let you teach subjects not in your certification. I am open to this too.

Any advice or tips would be great. Thank you!!

First of all, what level are you interested in teaching at? And when you are looking at commute times, how long would you consider driving? Are you moving to IF and looking to work in the immediate area or commuting to IF? I'd start with contacting the various districts, if you clarify what your looking for I'm happy to help.

Default teaching jobs

I am certified to teach from grades K-12...so I would be happy teaching anywhere in that range. And I would be willing to travel about 25-30 minutes. Also I am likely moving to IF and looking to teach in that area or any school within commuting range. Thanks!

Lightbulb Check This Source of Information

Sport225,

This is the link for Idaho Falls Magazine. Sage, I hope you will let this remain, as it isn't an advertisement for the magazine vs. using the community resources listed.

Here's the link: Idaho Falls Magazine (http://www.idahofallsmagazine.com/guide/index.cfm?nav=6 - broken link)

Sport225, look under "Children" and then the separate title, "Education."

You should be able to contact a lot of the various schools with your CV given what is listed.

Good luck to you.

MSR

Glad I found this thread. I never considered moving to Idaho until I saw that IFSD #91 was coming to my town in Michigan to recruit teachers. I researched the area and it seems like a nice place to live.
