Opening an independent book store in the middle of a pandemic: Winnie & Mo’s. Pretty gutsy.

This is a great thing. Ever since the world wide web came about (Internet) these bookstores have been going out of business.

Then the pandemic only made it worse.

At least there are bookstores coming around so there can be a gathering place for people to read and at the same time you can actually read books without having to worry about the information being deleted to pick up where you left off on reading. Also books don't ruin your eyes because of computer screens/phone screens.

Best of luck to them both!

2 other bookstores failed downtown. I hope the third time is a charm.

I like to buy local, so I'll buy some books there for sure. Books never need batteries, and the best ones never grow old.
