Hello all, I am a born and raised West Virginian, and I may be moving to the above state area. I am an avid outdoorsman, fishing, hunting, backpacking, camping, etc are what i do mostly. I am considering the move west to advance my career and fufill a lifelong dream of seeing the west. I am single and have no kids, no ties to WV anymore, so if anyone can give me information on the area I would appriciate it very much. If anyone is from the area i would love to hear you personal account of the area.

If you're an outdoorsman you're certainly moving in the right direction. SE Idaho which borders western WY and MT is chock full of hunters, fisherman and fly fishing as well. Not to mention the winter activities of skiing, snow machines, snow shoeing and ice fishing.

As long as you've got a job to come to, the rest is a walk in the park, pun intended

Totally agree with cleosmom on the recreation opportunities. You are within just a couple of hours of Yellowstone, and within a couple of hours of the best outdoor scenery and recreation in the country.

However, the singles scene in East Idaho is practically non-existent, not sure if that matters to you.

Thanks for the replies, the singles (or lack there of) does not bother me. I have already been PMed about the religous tendancies of the area, but I am not too worried about that, I rarely drink and bars are not my thing. My career is whats important to me at the moment, and from what i read, the fly fishing out in the region is second to none. Again thanks for your replies.
