it rained all night and is still pouring. Glad I got the tack shed all cleaned out yesterday, though I was stupid and didn't realize that Hantavirus is a possibility up here till I googled afterward. The deer mice had a field day there over the winter. I was careful in Arizona but just didn't think of it being in Idaho.

It's almost Outlaw Day in Richfield. Get your hat and boots on and head on down. Stop by Piper's and say hi to the storekeep. Don't hit up that little mini mart that opened up, those crazy coots. They can't compete with Pipers.

Tell Mike Piper that GM sent ya, and he will say "Who in the world is that." But if you say his ex-wife's cousin from California, he might not kick ya on out of the store.

Wonder who the Queen will be this year?

Stop in at Wards Cheese and grab some fresh curds. Good stuff I tell ya.

Mind the deadmans curve just before town though, I'd hate for my cousins the volunteers to have to come out and scrape you up.

He looks like a nice enough guy. Kootenai County Sheriff Office

But obviously looks are deceiving and his issue is bad PR for the state in general. All of this scandal as CD'A city council voted to "add the words". Think this upsets the sheriff?

If, as the sheriff say's, that it will open the door to openly gay scout leaders, he and other homophobes should find comfort in that seeing as how it will make them better informed when choosing which troop to associate their children with, or to avoid, as they see fit.

That being said, I feel the BSA, being a private club, has every right to limit their membership as they see fit and should not have bowed to pressure from special interest to include gays.

Idaho, your capitol city's sesquicentennial is coming up soon. Boise turns 150 years old on July 7.

Boise150

The State of Idaho also is celebrating its sesquicentennial this year too. It looks like the events are not just centered in Boise and take place around the state

Should they also not be forced to accept black leaders or scouts? Muslim? Etc?
