I'd like to subscribe to a CDA or a N. Id. newspaper. I want one with a good outdoor reporter who reports on the fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities. Also, I want local news, not a bunch of filler off the wire service. Good want ads would be nice too.

Is there such a newspaper? Recommendations?

I really like the River Journal. They have a hunting and fishing section. It's pretty specific to Bonner County and the Sandpoint area.

The Coeur d'Alene Press USED to have a good outdoors section. The person who wrote it was a avid outdoorsman and spent a lot of time in our shop and out fishing with us to get his story right. Once he left it went to a network of other writers and went down hill from there. They are very good at misquoted information and just flat out getting it wrong. For the best reports just call Fins and Feathers (208)667-9304 and ask them what is going on.

As far as papers go when we subscribed to a paper it was the Coeur d'Alene Press, it seemed better than a Spokane paper with an Idaho section to us.
