What a glorious day!! Nothing like Mr. Sunshine.

It is paperwork time and time to take stock of our inefficient lifestyle.

We are averaging $128/month gas & electric (69% electricity, 31% gas)

90.3 cents per square foot per year (1700 sf house)


We recently jacked up insulation in an attic space and went CFL and I am sorely tempted to get a Marathon water heater...but hopefully, we can get this figure down to $110/mo...

Energy Consumption-wise, the numbers do not look all that good for a small-size home

Monthly kWh: 1002
Therms: 39

The numbers game on energy bills is a fun challenge...
