If spring hasn't already arrived, it will, trust me! What's in your area that becomes irresistable on the first real day of spring/when the season starts? What is the first thing you plan on doing on the first nice spring weekend, and where (whatever you want to share online!)? Get the boat in the water? Clean out the garage? Road trip? Work on a tan? Make that vegetable garden? Have brunch at an outdoor cafe? First on my list (which I may actually be able to do soon) is go to the Floating Restaurant in Hope for an outdoor lunch!

(We've had some threads recently with a few posters venting/agonizing about one thing or another. Not that that is out of place per se, but I just thought I'd start a happy-happy Pollyanna thread...unless the first thing you're looking forward to doing is vent! )

I will be planting my flower seeds in large pots. I may also take a drive in the sunshine and take some pictures. I also like to fish with my children, we just need to get our license's.

Bagging peaks in the Boise foothills! Was up in the Danskins last weekend before the opening of ORV season and it was very nice!

Branding the calves, then driving the cattle up to the summer range.
Hard work, but I've been doing it since I was a very little kid, and it's a big part of my family's traditions for over a century now. The drive is a good opportunity to catch up on how everyone's doing. Some years, we have more riders than cows to herd.

That is so cool. What I would have given to have grown up like you did.
I have decided to switch my English saddle to a western saddle though I don't know if it will ever feel right to hold reins in one hand.
