Okay, so I posted a few months ago about a potential job & whether I could afford to live in Pocatello, etc.

Well at this point I'm looking for places to live, & so far I've narrowed down the best places to two (townhouses, because I couldn't find any suitable apartments).
Now I've never been to the area, so if possible I'd just like to get some feedback from people who know the area. It doesn't seem like there are any bad areas in Pocatello, but just in case I was hoping to get some advice.

One of the townhouses is on Freeman Lane off of Pocatello Creek Road, just east of I-15.

& the other is just right past Freeman (east of it) on Pocatello Creek Road.

This is not a bad area at all. There are few bad areas in Pocatello. East of I-15 on PO Creek Rd is fine. Also, in general, Poky is inexpensive for rentals.

I lived in two homes in Pocatello. One on Lander St. on the other side of the river from old downtown. It was cheap, about $595 a month for a small 3 BR. We then bought a house up by the Pocatello Mall, and we got a lot of house for only $97,800, I'll tell you. When I got a job in southern Arizona and we had to sell it, Jay's Homes sold the home for us in about 3 weeks, and we made enough to pay his fee off. I couldn't believe it!

Pocatello is generally a decent place to live, be prepared for some cold and windy weather, though.
