I've eaten at Wolf Lodge 4 times now, they have the best steaks ever ever ever. If you are looking for a good night out with some incredible red meat or fish try them out. I ate like a 44 oz steak it was huge but was so tender!

Get there at 430 before they open, it gets crowded fast.

We have lived here since the early 90's and have not gone their yet. I hear some raving about how great they are but there is always the "but they are expensive" thrown in. I would be interested to know how your steak cost and how much your drinks cost.

The best steak for the money I have had locally is from Texas Roadhouse by far.

Maybe someone who has been to both can compare and contrast the two.

You can see the menus here:

I find them two different experiences. Roadhouse is in the middle of town, boisterous and good. Wolf is more unique, feels like it is out in the woods (even though the freeway goes right by) and more northwesty. I find the flavor of the steak at wolf to be superior, but it will set you back more.

Default great steaks

Both have great food, T.R is definitly louder, lots of stuff going on all the time, sometimes even hard to talk across your table. Great food though.
Wolf lodge is more of a quiet, woodsy special occasion place, food a bit better than T.R.. I think wife and I paid around 95 bucks for steaks for 2 with a couple of beers, can't remember if that included tip. W.L. is a great place even if we can only afford it on birthdays, anniversary etc.

Texas Roadhouse is to loud for me and the one time I went there the waitress I got didn't listen to me, it was really annoying. If your 20ish and like loud music (note I didn't say good loud music) and air head waitresses Texas Roadhouse might be for you. TR is like a hooters for steak eaters. Wolf lodge....now that's the place to go.

Ranger you and I might Shang hi our beloved mod sage and go get steaks. If he doesn't want to go we can split his too.

DT if you ever want to cook your own slab of meat then you might try Tim's on Gov't. Way.
