This is where we spend a lot of the dog days of summer. It's a bend in the river on our land where there is little currrent, you can see clear to the bottom (at least 8 feet deep) and the lovely emerald water just invites you in.
This is the kind of thing we moved here to Idaho for.

Hmm how long will it take from SE Idaho to get there? Looks great Misty, you have quite a treasure!
It's a pretty long drive so you'd better get going! It is a treasure, but we have to share. Rafters like it too and last week I saw a moose swimming around in it. He wasn't crossing the river, he just seemed to be enjoying the water. Smart moose. It feels awfully good in there in this heat.
What a gorgeous spot.. Thats a little slice of heaven right there. Thanks for the pics Misty, I feel cooler already, and its been like 105 and humid here!
Misty,
You can't imagine (well, you probably can!) how soothing these pics are for those of us who are elsewhere...I'm going to use one of them as a screen saver. Thanks!
Used to post on another board...I used to drive by your house on the way to another friend's house...and drive around the dogs who were herding my car...
Am I right?
