The resort is just a hotel so you can check it out. There is a restaurant there and shops across the street. You can walk around the floating boardwalk too.

How ever you get here, plan a minimum of 4 days to explore CDA and the area, maybe a day drive to Wallace for lunch, same thing for Sandpoint and a couple of days around CDA. Again, this would be minimum.

So, at least 4 days. I talked with my husband last night, and we decided to fly from SF to Spokane. It may be slightly more expensive than Seattle, but at least we won't have the long drive after the flight.

I'll do some more research and see if there is anything in particular that he wants to see that is not related to moving.

BTW, is there a place where I can get a complete listing of the apartments in the CDA/Post Falls area? I don't want to miss any. In the same thought, are there any that we shouldn't waste our time looking at? It will be for 3 people, 2 adults and 1 child, no pets. My husband works odd hours, so it needs to be someplace where he would feel that we would be safe without him there during the night.

How much are you hoping to pay for an apartment?

We currently pay $950 for a 3/2 house with a yard. I would like to keep it under that, since that is what we are comfortable in our budget right now.

We would need at least 2 bedrooms and I would prefer 2 bathrooms. We would also need a ground floor unit because we are bringing my piano that has been in the family for over 100 years. That is not something that I am willing to part with.
