Looking for anyone with experience, positive or negative with the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence and finding teaching jobs in Idaho. Specifically, I'd like to be in the Moscow/Lewiston area.

My questions are:
Is finding a permanent teaching job after earning the ABCTE certificate easy/hard/impossible?

ABCTE says they only have a 50% pass rate. Any advice from anyone who's completed it? Specifically with regards to 6-12 Mathematics?

Any tips on how to get a practicum after certification? Do I contact the schools directly? Sub? Volunteer? And position after the internship?

The last thing I want to do is have more education and still no job! But I really want to teach for a living as I've taught a couple of college courses and have enjoyed all of it.

I have experience teaching college level engineering courses as a TA and was hoping with my Master's and College Teaching Certificate I could find an instructor job ; however, that has been harder than I anticipated so I am wanting to switch from college engineering to high school math (or science).

No knowledge on the topic, but, as a person who moved from Tampa Fl. to Moscow 4 months ago, I would like to say Hello.

Whereabouts in Tampa do you live, if you don't mined me asking?
I retired from Hillsborough County about a year and half ago. So we decided to move north, as we could not go much farther south.
