As I crossed Long Bridge today around 3pm, An osprey crossed with a huge branch in its talons. I think it was headed to the railroad trestle.

I haven't had a good night's rest in a decade. Good entertainment is where you find it in the middle of another restless night.

I'm not sayin' I'm watching Ospreys… I'm just saying. But I do have the nest cam on my favorites list now. The plot is kinda weak, but the visuals are great!

Beat me to it. The first egg was laid last night. Apparently it will be a few days until we see the next egg. 2-4 is the typical number that are laid.

Hopefully they won't be like my cannibalistic chickens and eat their own eggs........

Thanks for the extra info, gonna be awfully crowded in there if they have all four eggs and they hatch.

I completely missed the egg arrival! Hubby texted me while I was out. Hope to see more soon. This is the first season we've watched so we're pretty excited.

I saw the egg! Only one so far, I think. It looks like they're still building up the nest around the actual nesting area.
