How does Zip's compare to the rest in the restaurant biz?

Any comparison on their Huckleberry shakes?

Zip's has very good Huckleberry Shakes.

They are a very traditional burger joint. I like them more then the "big" chains like McDonalds.

cog - not sure where you're from, but as a native Texan I love going to Zips when I'm in the NW visiting family. As far as fast food goes, I've had generally positive experiences eating there and I'd rate it pretty highly compared to other fast food places. Living here I'm pretty spoiled with Whataburger, but I'd put Zips on par with that, with obvious regional differences (Huckleberries vs. Jalapenos, for example.)

Burger express in priest River and Sandpoint does great burgers. The one in SP used to be a zips but became BE.

I dunno. I'd say Whataburger is way better than Zips.

It's got a wider selection, that's for sure. Maybe I'm just used to it...

Could be. I sure miss Whataburger and Fuddruckers among many, many, many other great eateries in TX. I'm afraid if I ever moved from here in NID, which I don't plan to do, I'd not miss any eateries here.

Zips is always a nice find over the big chain stuff. Their huckleberry shakes are hit and miss, and because they are not a chain, each restaurant may have a different menu and prices then the last. Overall good place to go though.
