My buddy is getting a cabin in Victor for a weekend and I'm looking for recomendations for what to do. Most internet searching seems as though Victor itself is pretty small so I'm not sure what to expect on things to do their during the day.

I'm sure there are some good hikes and what not, and we'll be taking 4-wheelers out when we get there too.

Any places to eat that are can't miss?

Anything fun to do in the evening?

Victor is small, but Jackson Hole is about 20 minutes away to the east, on the other side of the pass at the edge of town, and about 20 minutes or less away from Driggs, which lies to the north, just up the road. Both have the nightlife going on.

I don't know if it's still open, but Victor had a really good steak house there for a long time; The Idaho Steak Bank. (It was in an old bank building). It's so small the locals will tell you where all the good places are to eat or not.

Good hikes are about the easiest thing to find. Pick a direction and you'll have a good hike. Don't go hiking on private land, though, without asking first.

Grab a burger at The Brakeman and a huckleberry shake next door at the Victor Emporium.

To me the most amazing place in Victor is the "Knotty Pine" for their supper club. Truly amazing food and beer. Next time I'm up that way I will for certain make sure to head there for dinner.
