I'm leaving Law Enforcement after 30 years and have also looked at Idaho, but, I don't see much written about the southern part of the state around Pocatello or Twin Falls. Does anybody have an opinion of these areas?
Look in the search area at the top of the page.
There is tons of info on both areas to help you choose.
Or pick Emmett as our soon to be town like we did and you can teach me to shoot better

Hey that's not fair, I need his help down in Shelley
Just got back from CDA and Sandpoint. I kept veering off the road and almost wrecked a dozen times because of the beauty. I had never seen a wild turkey before. They are all over the place. Same thing with the deer.
You have more deer up there than I have squirrels in my yard. The lakes are like oceans and the vegetation is incredible. Got lost in Priest Lake and met some nice lady out in the middle of nowhere who got us back on the paved roads. The folks of Idah were great. Sage was right.
I'm a lurker on this thead, and just wanted to say how nice it is to read. I spent many childhood summers in Idaho camping with my family (Redfish & Priest Lakes). Great memories! You have a beautiful state! And apparantly a very safe one
