Looking to move to idaho
My husband and i want to get out of Las Vegas. We like the area between idaho and Wyoming border. Hubby is retiring next year. Any suggestions?
F5 is right; the way you worded your question is confusing, as the 2 states touch each other.
There are essentially 2 areas on the Idaho side of the border- the one east of Idaho Falls that stretches from I.F. east and northward, and the other east of Soda Springs and Montpelier, which stretches both ways, north and south, at the borderline.
The two areas are different, so it would help if you went into a bit more detail.

Lennie,
I have lived in Idaho almost my entire life. The area between Idaho and Wyoming border has some amazing sites. If you are looking at that area I would suggest Bear Lake area Montpelier, Paris, St. Charles, if you wanted a bigger city you have Idaho Falls or Pocatello. Now, coming from Vegas one thing you might be aware that this area does tend to get a fair share of snow. Is that going to be something that you and your husband would be okay with? Just curious what is the reason for you and your husband choosing that area? If you would like to know more let me know.
If I didn't fall in love with the Rathdrum Prairie, I would have moved to the Driggs/Tetonia area. Nice area, friendly people, moderate climate, fantastic vistas.
Idaho is next Florida the state where everyone going to move to
Sorry, but that goes to Arizona, hands down.
