DemonicAngel how have you found Sagle? What are your favorite restaurants after living here for a while? We actually enjoy Cafe 95 for burgers and comfort food.

In our opinion Cafe 95 has turned out to be a big improvement over the previous establishment at this location (Stacy's Kitchen). The food is quite good, and service is usually excellent. It's convenient for those of us who live south of the long bridge and don't want to head into town.

On a somewhat related note I see that they have started working on rebuilding The View Cafe in Cocolalla. For those who hadn't heard, they had a fire in there a few months back.

The View has been pretty good. Can't wait for them to re-open. Great chicken fried steak!

Believe it or not, for a good burger or turkey sandwich, I've had really good luck at the Chevron station off the 95 in Westmond (all made fresh - they have a small kitchen/grill). Their other items look good also, but i've only had the burger and turkey sammich.

Sweet Lou's in Ponderay is a good spot as well. I've had several things on their menu and all have been darn good.

Another spot that makes a good sandwich and has a great selection of sweets is the German bakery/deli Swartzendruber's at the 95/Sagle Rd.

Great news about The View! Hope they will keep serving their homemade potato chips.

The Westmont Chevron station used to have great breakfast sandwiches, but I haven't had a chance to order one for a few years.

Sweet Lou's menu is terrific, but I can do without the sports TVs. Their previous place in Hope was wonderful--great food in a beautiful, quiet setting, with a dog-friendly lawn out back. Sigh.
