I thought the work last year was around the corner on Cedar St. I think the work on 1st is their next phase.

I don't live in town, so I don't pay too much attention to it, and normally try to plan my routes to minimize driving through the center of town if possible.

Thanks Dave.

Maybe what I saw was when they were changing 1st from a one way to a two way. I know they were up to something down there and had it closed off so I avoided it too.

They're at it already at 7 am, working. Kind of a gloomy morning today. I looked at the webcam the other morning before the workers showed up. Totally abandoned street. It looked so familiar. But not like First Street. Then I realized that it looked like Main Street in a Western movie! Wide, muddy street, false front buildings! All it needed was hitching rails and horses. Well, that's what it looked like back in the day, anyway, so it was like a window into the past. As close to time travel as we can get, I guess...

Sandpoint projects are usually here.

Your pic looks to be the revitalization project.

For many reasons, all I can say is thank goodness for the byway.

Hitching rails would be a nice touch!

I'm a little delayed chiming in here, but I heard that they didn't finish what they were working on in front of the Bridge Mall before winter set in, so they filled it in until spring. Is that right?
