We also love their youth sports programs, also very reasonably priced for members, and more our style than club sports. We utilize the Y a lot more than expected, and it's something like $80/month for our entire family of four.
That downtown YMCA is set to be torn down and moved across State Street as part of a large new highrise residential/office development. The exact timeline isn't known yet.

There was one downtown at The Grove Hotel, but Boise and Idaho has several Anytime Fitness locations which are 24 hours and memberships work at any facility.

Yes, more info here. I love the downtown YMCA but it is showing its age. I'm excited to see this project go forward and fill in more of that part of downtown.

These are two different clubs. I don't think a 24 hr. member can use Anytime Fitness as an affiliate. There are lots of Anytime Fitness Clubs here.

Nope, not to small in size.

To small in attitude.

Coeur d'Alene had/has a unsuccessful small town attitude. The scenery in the summertime saved it as people moved it for the summer scenery.

Successful small towns, do not blame others for their woes. They just fix the problems.

Hey, want a small town close to CDA with a "successful" attitude?? Check out this blog posting on Wallace.

Not sure what you mean. So I googled "small town attitude" lol. In one sense, that's a good thing:
Rocker Steven Tyler put it like this:
“Even though Nashville’s a big town, it’s still got a small town attitude. Everybody’s real nice and kind of says ‘hello’ to each other,”...”
Coeur d'Alene's "small town attitude", (where drivers are overly courteous and everyone is friendly), was one of the major factors that convinced me to move here five years ago. But I do admit that it seems things are changing from the way it was when I came here.

Remember that the only constant in life is ... change.

Most cities change as they become desirable. But that’s the odd thing, when they become more desirable they become less good places to live.

I drove from I-90 to Sand Point on hwy 95 last year and just the 90 exit to Hayden took almost 45 minutes. Twenty five years ago it took half the time.
