Our new place is connected to Remington water district. We can't contact them. Phone messages are never returned. It's quite odd.
Last winter, we had the water switched to vacation (turned off at the meter.) The next month, we had a tenant move into our place which we didn't expect to happen until spring. We made several attempts to contact them to turn it back on. It got turned on, I'm not sure by whom, maybe our management company, but the bills remain at the vacation rate. We've left numerous phone messages and continued to pay what we think the regular rate is.
That's my real question: What are the rates? The only bill we recieved before going on the "vacation" rate was a flat fee of $35. Due to a bill estimate from the former owners, I think there's a different rate in Summer. Does anybody know what the rates are? A document would be helpful.
Yes they have a web site, apparently no e-mail. The rates are not on the web site. Nobody ever answers the phone and nobody ever returns calls. I wonder what happens if a water main breaks?
