Hi everyone. I'm new here, and SO glad I found this forum!

My In-Laws live in IF and we're planning to visit for Thanksgiving. We'd like to go out for a traditional dinner.

My dh hasn't lived in the area for 20 years, and so much has changed even in recent years. We're looking for a nicer place, with a decent wine list and cloth napkins, but we have 3 children, ages 6, 10, and 12, so we need someplace relatively kid-friendly. Moderate price range would be nice, maybe $20/plate or so? MIL suggested Chuck-a-rama....no thank you! LOL!

Anywho, I looked online and found a few that sound promising, but it's hard to tell from websities, kwim? Recommendations?

If you have contact info too, for reservations, that would be fabulous, but I can always let my fingers do the walking!

TIA!

We traditionally go to The Sandpiper for Thanksgiving. They serve an all you can eat sit down dinner and even my 6'4 DH can do well to get through the first serving.

I also know that Chuck-A-Rama, O'Callahans (Shilo Inn) and the Red Lion (your DH will remember it as The Westbank ) serve buffet style Thanksgiving dinners.

In my experience we prefer The Sandpiper which you will need reservations for.

Hope you enjoy your visit to IF
