While checking the weather in CDA, I noticed this advisory today that says it is in effect till Tuesday. Even though another chart on the page has air quality as 'good', the advisory states "An air stagnation advisory indicates that due to limited movement of an airmass across the advisory area... pollution will increase to dangerous levels."
I am wondering how often this happens and what it is actually like?

Wow. Have not ever dealt with that before. It's gorgeous up here in Sandpoint, mild breeze, crystal blue sky, loads of sun, looks like a July sky, 36 degrees outside right now with snow melting like crazy...which will be wicked ice tonight!

My daughter was skiing up on Schweitzer today and while it was pretty chilly in town (high 20's) it was 40 degrees up on top of the mountain because of the inversion. Weird.
