Yes, today is the first day of Spring and it's absolutely gorgeous in SE Idaho

The warmest temperature I've seen today is 61*, no gusting winds and the sun is shining......... guess that means I'll be doing yard work soon

Today was absolutely beautiful over here in Boise- I think we hit 70- and yes yard work is around the corner- finished off the day clipping back dead growth and prepping a couple of raised beds. Don't worry....it wasn't too painful.....add about 20 more degrees and then we'd have something to whine about

Add 20 degrees huh ??

Last year we were at Celebration Park near Melba on a nice summer day.
The locals were absolutely sniveling because it was soooooo hot they said.
They would barely get out of the river.
It was 90 degrees and down right awesome spring weather to us usually dealing with 100+ every day for months on end back in central claif.
Guess it just depends where your personal threshold is??

I guess I'll see when it 11 degrees in january and I want to play in my shop in Emmett.

Default Not cool!

Ok that is not nice....
I am here in the SE and I long for ID....... We were stationed there in '88 and '89 and then '92 thru '96. I have the zip code in my weather favorites. I miss ID's weather so bad. I wish we could move back there.

Two days ago I rode my Harley to Palm Springs in ninety degree weather. Today it is snowing. Leaving Southern CA will be interesting for me. We can have up to 3 feet of snow at one time, then hot weather for weeks on end. I hate anything over 70, so I am looking forward to the move to Idaho.

I can't wait to start paying Idaho state taxes vs. CA state taxes. Hopefully my bucks will go for worthwhile projects. I was impressed by the common sense and decency of the folks in Idaho vs. where I am now.
