I thought I’d share some cool info with you. Like Cleosmom on the Farmer’s Market thread, I want to make sure I don’t break CDF rules by posting this, so I’m not posting links or contact numbers. I have heard all about it from the Mrs.
People sitting around talking wool and Looms, (no Beer Garden).
Man I can't wait to miss that...
I'd rather stay home and smash my thumb with a hammer.

Scotchman Peaks events
Are any of you guys aware of the Friends of the Scotchman Peaks' Wilderness? They have a lot of events including mountain hikes of various difficulty levels, nature walks, talks about the area, etc. May 26 they have a presentation at the Ponderay Events Center on the status of the proposed Wilderness area. The Scotchman Peaks are on the ID side, but the proposed wilderness straddles the ID-MT border. Here's more info:

We haven't gone to any of the events yet, but we hope to do so in the future, such as the easy-to-moderate hikes--especially since it'll be the Peaks and Wilderness we'll be looking at from our future front porch
