Thanks Torrie!

Yes, we love Idaho. No regrets for a second. I have very few complaints and you couldn't pay me enough to move back to California! (I guess I should respond to some of the other posts from Californians considering the move! )

One of my complaints about Idaho, however, is when Californians move up and continue driving aggressively. I love how friendly people are here - in-person AND in their cars. That's why when I saw this article I knew I had to post it here.

LOL, you sound like me...."you couldn't pay me enough to move back to California!"

So glad you're happy! Idaho is a wonderful place to live......I'm sure you fit in just fine.

Yes, the driving is different for Californians, I find when I go back to Cali, it's hard for me to drive .....not use to the agressiveness.....sheesh, just driving in a southern Cali shopping center is enough to stress you out compared to driving here!

We have three types of drivers I see around here. Tourists and who can blame them really. Then ya got the people who will not go the speed limit. Which makes the traffic back up on 95. For some reason people don't like to go 45 in the 45 zone. Instead they do 35 and that just backs everything up. Then ya got the guy who pulls right out in front of you and goes under the limit. I don't know what has caused the recent trend but I have noticed it a lot. I go threw it every day now. The tailgating is getting old especially when your riding a motorcycle. I usually stop and have words with those people who think riding the tail of a bike is ok.

Funny how Idaho and California are at opposite ends of most of the charts I see. I know first hand how drivers in both areas are. In the few trips to ID, I have noticed a dramatic difference in road manners. ID of course having the better. This does not stop on the road either. I notice it in every establishment I have gone into. Simply walking into a Lowe's in CDA I was looking around in awe at the clean conditions and stocked aisles and smiling helpful associates and ...

I heard this on the radio the other day and actually planned on posting it here since Idaho came in at the top!!! Of course I forgot!! Thanks niners fan!!

In my many travels all over Idaho, I notice a DISTINCT difference in the drivers here and in there.
In Cali if the weather is bad, people DO NOT slow down. People REFUSE to let you merge in front of them etc.. And god forbid you actually try to go the speed limit..Ha!!

WAY TO GO IDAHO!!!
