Got one up on Mother Nature, got both lawns mowed this morning before work

It has been very wet this season. Just got back from camping outside of McCall.....the rivers are cranking like you wouldn't believe. We got woken up several times in the night by the increasing waterfall flows. Even though it wasn't raining at the time of being woken up, somewhere else up on the mountain it sure was, as you could hear the water flows increasing and then decreasing. I've never seen it so green up there as it's been this year. Absolutely beautiful! There was still snow in our campground!

I saw a view today one could only expect perhaps in Hawaii. Driving southbound on I-15 between Blackfoot and Fort Hall this late afternoon in the midst of a heavy rain squall, in the distance the now lush green foothills of Pocatello were bathed in sunshine. Absolutely beautiful, wish I had my camera.

It's not just Idaho. Every day in June was below normal in Los Angeles. Detroit and Chicago were not expected to hit 60 degrees yesterday for July 4th. Chicago had its coldest May on record.

Back when we first moved here in the early 90's, thunderstorms seemed to be a bit of the norm. it was never too surprising to be at one of my nephew's games and then have to hold things up until the storm passed.
One Valentine's Day, odd time of the year, we even had a twister touch down!
Yes, the green is awesome to see. Let's hope it holds up or we could be in for quite the fire season!
