I for one am happy that we're back to dry ground again. Gave me a chance to get a lot more stuff done I'd been putting off around the place and now I feel REALLY ready for a long hard winter (if it comes).

Sagle has NO snow forecast (beyond 40% chances) in the next 5 days, with highs from 37-48 (or as my kids say, "T-shirt weather!"). Good stuff!

Hope y'all had a nice Thanksgiving. We went to some friends' who just bought a house here in The Doof...over near Fuhrman's place. Crazy how much dry ground that meadow has compared to our forested/shady acreage.

Would that be Mark Fuhrman of OJ trial fame? (That's a guy I'd like to share a few beers with!)

Yeah. He has several homes, but his primary residence for some time was in the west Dufort valley near Round Lake State Park.

I wish we had some bare ground. We're still completely covered here.

We have a very light layer on the ground. I hope it gets cold soon, the road was finally frozen enough to plow without moving dirt and I had a nice base down. The warm spell wiped that out. May have to go for a motorcycle ride tomorrow.

We were out and about yesterday in Sandpoint and going home, we could see exactly where the snow was still deep and thick. It started about 2 miles south of us. Priest River has virtually none left at all.

Thank you. We live in the Priest River/ Priest Lake area.

(My husband is a Hoosier too!)
