Well, vodka is just another stage in the life cycle of the mighty potato . Might improve on the pizza... Now the Lobster Panini, I don't think you can improve on that! Here's a recipe: Panini with Maine Lobster - Lobster Recipe

It looks good eluosv. However....I've spend a lot of time trying to dispel the notion that North Idaho is associated with spuds. Mountains, not potatos! (my friends in a past life associate Idaho with potatos!) How about an elk sausage and cutthroat trout pizza?

Oh, that's beautiful! Is there ice on Lake Hauser yet?

Our little corner of C-D Forum seems really quiet these days--I'm sure everybody is busy-busy-busy, like me! Trying to get everything done before Christmas. Let's all take a deep breath now and again and enjoy the season! Time for your favorite hot beverage, leaded or unleaded!

Clark Fork - say yes on the favorite beverage. Lately mine is good 'ole Sam's Choice Dark French Roast coffee....I devour 3 cups early on in the morning so quickly I make my own head spin! Love a good several cups of great Joe in the AM!

Another beautiful day here in I.F. Sunny, calm, and 40º this afternoon.

Yesterday was the same, and I called a friend yesterday morning to see if I could shanghai him and his pickup for a dump run- I had a bunch of junk in the garage that needed to go, so I could put my car inside before winter sets in.
He was on the road to Poky when I called- his oldest daughter had just made him a Grandpa the night before, so he was going to meet his new grand daughter for the first time! No way I was going to get him yesterday!
So I said today would be fine- what the heck, unless the wind was blowing hard, a dump run doesn't have to be done on a perfect day. He called this morning and said he'd come over around 11, so I went out and got the junk piled up, ready to go.

It was so nice out I never needed a jacket. I was about done by the time he showed up, and one run was all that was needed. I bought him lunch at a fave truck stop close to the transfer station, and we had a good visit. By the time we were about halfway done with lunch, 2 old friends, a husband and wife, came in, and all 4 of us sat together and visited some more.

It was just about as nice a morning as could be- got my car in the garage, got to spend time with friends, and got to watch the guy at the transfer station run over a dead tv that had been taking up space in the garage for years. He aimed, ran right over it with one track on his Cat, and reduced that tv to pieces in one pass... pretty cool!

Now, I'm gonna go sit on my deck and play the banjer until my fingers get to cold to play any more. Most excellent way to spend and sunny early winter .

They are great! Did you buy it or make it?
They're not hard to make- they're just the same as twice-backed spuds; I always use sour cream and chives along with some cheese. And the bacon, for sure!
Got my mouth waterin' at the sight!
