I've been lurking in the CD forums for a while and just joined recently, primarily to participate in the Political forums. The Idaho forum seems pretty desolate these days...it seems there used to be a lot more activity and entertainment.

Default Great Idaho video

https://youtu.be/2RZMXd4IAb0?list=PL...fg3ZeM-DI5oo37

Thanks Sierra Don! nice video, and it made me want to share this one my hubby and I watched last night on TV. It's an hour long, but pretty fascinating.

In the meantime, packing, sorting, and more packing going on here. We pick up the Penske truck Saturday, yay!! Cant wait to see how our place survived the winter. Im REALLY hoping we winterized it correctly. And Reziac just reminded me how one thing I definately wont ever miss is this daily Antelope Valley wind.

Am I the only person in the world who LIKES the Antelope Valley wind?

Can I have your share?

Sage has his own business, and it's this time of year when some businesses are the most busy. In my experience, forum moderators all tend to be like him- folks who have the ability to keep an eye on a forum all day because the can, without the job affecting the other areas of their lives very much.

I'm just sayin' this only to point out there are lots of reasons as to why he hasn't posted much recently. There have been many times in the past when Sage didn't post much, and he's never been as regular as some of the other mods in posting.

He is also one who doesn't make a big deal of giving someone a time out or a lockout if too much hanky-panky flares up. He just does it quietly.

The Idaho forum has been pretty quiet for a while, but that's to be expected. Traffic here comes and goes in waves of interest. Really, there hasn't been any need for Sage to post lately, and that may be the only reason why we haven't seen more of him.

Yep, I think so. I worked at a mine off of Silver Queen Rd last year when the shop was ripped apart by 70 mph sustained winds and 120+ mph gusts...no thanks.

Default Front Porch

I have really enjoyed reading the NID Front Porch posts and have learned SO much, I thank you all. Thought I would share a shot of my own front porch since I've loved sitting on yours all this time. Only a few more days (OK, a week)!

Thanks for the picture. We will be in Athol Friday afternoon to begin the search for our dream home. I plan to check out the property you told me about on May road in Sagle that afternoon. Have a safe trip home.
