I went for a Sunday drive today and Hayden Lake really looks yucky. The water level seems low and the water looks all green and slimy.

Those of you who boat, where do you put the boat in the water where you are allowed to get your dogs from the car to the boat. All eh ramp areas have "no dogs' signs posted.

I’ve seen dogs on and around the ramp by Shooters at Rockford Bay, and I haven’t noticed any signs at Sun Up Bay launch.

Y'all can thank me for this rain. I washed five cars and the camper, and polished headlamps.

I hope it is enough rain to put out some of the fires. It's really coming down at my house, but I don't know how large an area is getting hit with the storm.

Later this afternoon I noted that the sky was literally devoid of any lingering smoke for the 1st time in a very very long time. We had a good rain and wind from last night till about 4pm tonight and it's been wonderful to see clear air let alone be breathing it. Sure hope it can last. I'm in South Central Idaho.
