Ah yes, 101 and Tatum--I remember when that was wwwaaaayyy out in the desert! And they were never going to build there! Yeah, right...
Hi CFF - yeah. And there's another 10 miles of town north of me now.
Biggest problem with Phx is there is no sense of community. No one's got your back. I had that in Hawaii. People move in and out of here too fast to develop friendships. And who know what we have in our future? I'd like to be someplace where I've got yer back and you've got mine. Esp after I watched that scary video one of y'all posted a while back. And... well, I've said enuf about our border on other forums. Lord help us...

Guess they are building everywhere. They want to put in a freeway through CDA and Sandpoint. Plus make a 12000 acre subdivision called Clagstone right out of CDA. Geez you would think it would come to a stop with the economy the way it is. Hope the subdivision doesn't go through.

We still have folks shooting deer around here, it is great.

Stepped just off the Porch this weekend to the Tri-Cities area. Our sponsor had a little Vette show and we had 62 cars total.

There was sooo much horsepower everywhere!

In the air too!

Then down to the Columbia River for the Water Follies

More power!

Compared to the fighter jets ripping the sky apart, the hydros seemed downright tame.

Litchfield Park was different...what a great place to have kids. It was like going back in time. Eight years later, the city has moved in all around. My friends still say it's a great place behind the LP walls though.

Okay...now I would LOVE to have a 36 degree morning like we had a couple of weeks ago. The cabin only cooled down to 69 degrees last night and (for here) it's been kind of sticky.

September and October sound great to me. I love how it starts cooling down just as school starts. My daughters hated that they could never wear new fall clothes back to school in Arizona. Girls...

Ahem...we've been having the "coldest" July ever down here in SoCal...thick marine layer almost to the foothills...people are freezing in their poor little bathing suits on the gloomy beaches...nice inland breeze blowing--really lovely...inland attractions are advertising that they have sunny days!

So how are the bugs so far this summer, other than DR's mosquitoes? Big yellowjacket year, or what?

Haven't had any yellowjacket problems yet but the mosquitos are overstaying their welcome.
I'm hearing it's a bad huckleberry year though.
