394 lbs on rod and reel, 1956
675 lbs on a trot line, 1908

According to one post I saw, a 1500(yep1500!) lb one was caught and photographed in 1911.

(OK, I cheated and googled)

What's the deepest lake in Idaho, and how deep is it?
Bonus-what kind of craft is it unique for this freshwater lake?

Pend Oreille @ 1150', I actually remember that from researching NID.
Are you talking about the submarine for unique craft?

Nearly 70 percent. I thought it was 75, but I googled it, and it said only 70. Bummer!

What a fun thread. Here's my question (which you'll know if you read a previous post of mine ):
Who built the first fur trading post in Idaho, where, and when?

Haha, a lot of these questions can be googled quite easily. The real fun of such threads is to find questions that are not easily googled.

With that in mind, what year did the famous Boise airport Holiday Inn on Vista Ave. open? (One of the first Holiday Inn's in Idaho, and one of the first major convention hotels in Boise)...

I know the answer, and the first person to get it right wins my admiration!

I'm thinking that was David Thomson, and somewhere around what is now Clark Fork....don't remember the when though...

Elousv, correct on the submarines. The navy has a base in Bayview and does acoustic research in the lake.

Which lava tube cave in South Central Idaho is known as having some of the earliest signs of human habitation in North America, dating back nearly 15,000 years ago?
