We've had all this dry weather for so long and now it's chosen this particular weekend to rain. Homecoming is tonight here in Priest River and my daughter will be soaked and frozen. And, our equestrian club is doing pony and horse rides this weekend at an orchard in Greenbluff. I doubt we'll do much business if this keeps up. Maybe the weatherman will be wrong (unheard of, I know) and it will end this afternoon and be clear for the rest of the weekend. Here's hoping....

Well, you might get lucky. Our forecast for Sagle is snow showers ending by midnight tonight with only occasional showers tomorrow, and partly cloudy and windy Sunday. Fingers crossed...

It is pouring in Dalton Gardens now, I think Sage sent it down to us.

Nope. I shared in your deluge...

Was at Las Chavelas at 95/Bosanko and came home around 7:15AM. Freakin' cats and dogs coming down all the way home, and got worse north of Athol...yikes...

Welcome to winter summer and spring are too short here. I can remember getting rained on and then snowed on in the same night when I had my paper route in Post Falls as a kid. The weather here was never very nice for long. We have been extremely lucky the past few years that we were so dry we usually are not. I don't know how many summers I sat inside looking out at the rain. Or how many summer camping trips got rained on. It's what makes this place so green all the time. lol

I was reading this post and heard a loud crash. The wind blew my new barbecue over. I think it was welcoming me to Idaho.

Well it didn't snow in Sandpoint but it did up the mountain. I saw a few cars that had come down from the mountain last night with some snow on them. Today was very cool and windy, pretty cold with the wind chill.

It's snowing like crazy in Twin Falls today.

And it'll be near 80 next week.

This is Idaho weather.

We ended up cancelling the pony/horse rides in Greenbluff yesterday, but they're trying today. Hope the kids and ponies don't blow away! We only use the steadiest ponies and horses so they 'll be fine through all but a hurricane. Hope the rest of October weekends are nice. This is the kids big fundraiser.
This is my daughter givng a little 'un a ride on Buddy the pony last year.
