When I read the posts from the recent transplants, I realize how much we take for granted when we've lived here for a while.

Okay, here goes, cracking open the Blue Ice...pouring it...lifting the glass (what? I was supposed to drink from the bottle??? ), and toasting Trace and his New Life! Congrats, and welcome home...
It seems you and I toasted Trace in the same manner

Trace, I still stand on my word, you ever down this way to a knife show and I expect a head's up!!

Trace, I toasted you in coffee this morning on my way to work with my favorite travel coffee mug from the Westmond Store and Deli in Sagle! It seemed appropriate!

I am finally starting on my shop. While I was inside working it started to rain. It seems weird to get moisture in October. Got my plow on the Polaris and can't wait until the snow.

Here is a toast to all.......

Fisherman, you'd be surprised...we had rain down here the other day! No kidding! I counted 8 drops on the deck! Then it was over. But each drop was highly appreciated! I don't think it was really rain--I think it was the sky sweating... Enjoy real weather...

Bought a bottle of that Blue goo Idaho Vodka at the store yesterday.
Man that just isn't for me... Tastes like perfume.
I better stick with Jim Beam or some single Malts..
Wish I was sitting on the porch up there

Supposed to rain here in the middle of the week. I guess I can finally throw out turf seed and pasture seed. The Co-op folks told me fall is the best time to get er done. Supposedly the seeds germinate through the winter and grow like crazy in the spring. Sure hope so.

I am used to just throwing out winter rye and watching it turn green in winter and die in the summer. It is a tad different here.
