Happy Turkey Day from us here in Midvale. Day is great as we already did it yesterday. Hehehehehe That bird was burning a whole in my fridge. I am a total turkey freak.Today we are just grazing our way through the day on yummmy left overs.

Do any of you have those special little things you do for Thanksgiving? Special moments. I will start.

My husbands Uncle Sonny passed away several years ago. Before that he had sent a post card to Joe's Mom with this buttery mushroom stuffing recipe on it. I am not sure she ever cooked it but I copied it down and have cooked it every year since. When Joe's Mom passed away that post card was in her recipe file and it is the one thing I took. And treasure. So we still have our beloved Sonny with us on holidays. An odd thing is Joe's Mom and Uncle Sonny passed away within hours of each other. We miss Sonny. Take that for what you want. Heheheheh

Happy Day Every one and DR still thinking of you and yours in your travels.

And a HUGE shout out to those and their families that are fighting to keep us safe here in the States. Thank You So Very Much.

Chris and Joe

Smile Hope Everyone Had a Happy Thanksgiving...

Sorry I missed everyone yesterday. I hope you were able to create new memories from the events of yesterday.

DR - still thinking about you and waiting for your announcement when you write, "MOVED IN!"

Many can't celebrate on Thanksgiving, due to work responsibilities. To those who are celebrating today or Sat., enjoy the meaning on the this holiday and be grateul for the food and other bounties you enjoy.

Cleosmom, I hadn't been to bed yet when you and I were chatting....that must have been before you wrote this. Oh, you already knew that..
Glad you wished everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I look forward to any stories others may want to shared about Thanksgiving.

MSR

I wanted to give Thanksgiving greetings to all of you from CA. We have no kitchen because of our house facelift so I didn't get to cook, but my family didn't mind eating pizza. I will be so glad to get this project done so our move to ID can be determined. I'm jealous of all you recent transplants...and hoping DR got there safely.
